LoifyFit, LoifyFit PD and LoifyFit PD App Clip · Updated 28 September 2026
This policy covers LoifyFit Frame Finder, photo-based Virtual Try-on, prescription collection, LoifyFit PD and the LoifyFit PD App Clip. It explains how information is handled in a participating store’s eyewear workflow. The store also handles customer accounts, purchases and order records under its own privacy policy.
Operator and merchant data processing
LoifyFit is operated by GOYOR(HK)LIMITED (冠岳(香港)有限公司), FLAT/RM A 12/F, ZJ300,300 LOCKHART ROAD,WAN CHAI,HK. This policy sets out our privacy and data processing commitments to merchants using LoifyFit. For customer data processed to deliver a merchant’s eyewear workflow, the merchant determines the purposes and acts as the controller, and we act as its processor or service provider. Merchant configuration and authorized customer actions instruct that processing.
We process the data categories described below only to deliver, support and secure those services, provide access and deletion assistance, or meet applicable legal obligations. Merchants are responsible for their customer notices, lawful instructions and required consent. We use the hosting and AI providers described below to deliver the service and limit their inputs to the requested task. Merchants may contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion assistance. Ending app use does not remove Shopify order records; deletion and retention follow the processes described below.
Information used by the service
- Photos and AI previews. If you use Frame Finder or Virtual Try-on, we receive your uploaded photo, the selected frame or frame-shape references, generation requests and generated images. We store photos and results to deliver the experience. Frame Finder also records the style option and frame shape you select; Virtual Try-on associates the request with the store’s product and variant.
- Measurement and prescription information. This includes pupillary distance (PD), measurement progress and the result you choose to send. Measurement records received through app integrations may also include additional measurement values, where provided. The access, retention and deletion controls below apply to those records. On a connected store, you may enter prescription values or upload a prescription image for recognition, check the extracted values and save your prescription.
- Session and device identifiers. We use identifiers and time-limited links to connect your measurement to the originating store, frame, selected variant and prescription session. Records may be linked to your store customer account when you sign in or claim your records.
- Service interactions and technical records. These include request times, progress and completion events, errors and network/server access logs needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Photo-based AI features
Frame Finder generates eight frame-shape previews to help you compare styles. Virtual Try-on generates previews of selected frames and, when requested, additional scenes. These are generated images for eyewear selection, not 3D measurements, identity verification or medical assessments. Upload only a photo you are entitled to use.
Image generation sends the photo, frame references and instructions to external AI services. The current service uses Gemini image generation through our configured API gateway and Pruna for the first Virtual Try-on image. These providers process inputs and outputs under their applicable terms. We do not promise that third-party processing has zero retention or that every provider applies the same training policy.
Camera and TrueDepth data
Camera permission is required for PD measurement on a compatible iPhone. TrueDepth camera frames and face-tracking information used for measurement are processed on the device. The PD workflow does not upload or store camera photographs, video or a face mesh on our servers. The numeric measurement result is sent when you choose to send it.
Uploading a prescription image on the store is a separate, optional action. That image is transmitted to our server for OCR processing. The current OCR service uses Tesseract on our server and removes its temporary image files after processing. The extracted values remain editable and require your confirmation.
Why we use this information
We use information to create requested frame comparisons and try-on previews, remember selections and usage, perform the requested measurement, restore an interrupted prescription session, show and save values you confirm, connect the correct frame and lens selection, support store fulfilment, provide access/export/deletion controls, and prevent unauthorized access or misuse. A PD-only measurement does not create a complete prescription.
Sharing and service providers
Confirmed prescription information and the related purchase/session references are available to the participating store as needed to provide its eyewear service. Authorized store owners and administrators can also access their store’s Frame Finder comparison records and download photos and generated results while those images remain available. Downloads are logged; expired or deleted images are not available through that access. Authorized store owners and administrators can also export their store’s prescription and PD records and download available Virtual Try-on photos and results, including sessions without an order or customer-account link. Records pending deletion or belonging to a revoked identity are not available through this access. Our hosting and database providers process service data on our behalf; the database service uses Supabase. External AI processing for the photo-based features is described above. Shopify provides the store and customer-account infrastructure. Apple provides App Store, TestFlight and App Clip distribution under Apple’s own privacy information. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.
We do not use these measurement or prescription records for advertising or cross-app tracking, sell them, or use them to train an AI model. We do not upload TrueDepth camera frames to an advertising or image-generation service.
Storage and retention
Frame Finder session access is time limited (currently 24 hours). Expiry prevents normal session access; it is not a promise that every stored byte or backup is erased at that instant. Frame Finder and Virtual Try-on favorites are stored in your browser, with a 30-day expiry checked when the favorites store is accessed. Clearing browser data removes those local favorites; it does not delete server records or image files you have downloaded.
The app can keep a protected pending result on your device so a failed send can be retried. Session access and return links are time limited. A store prescription draft used to resume a PD handoff is accessible for at most two hours, subject to the session expiring earlier; saving the prescription clears that handoff draft. Link or session expiry limits access and does not mean all related server records are immediately physically deleted.
Saved results, prescriptions and operational records remain in the service until they are removed through the applicable deletion or retention process. Deletion may require a processing step to safely revoke existing purchase references before records are purged. Shopify/store order records and protected operational backups are handled separately. Uninstalling the iOS app does not delete records already sent to the service.
Your choices and requests
- You can choose not to upload a photo or use AI generation. Use available controls to remove a saved favorite or request deletion of server records; removing a local favorite alone does not erase server data.
- You can decline camera access, stop measuring, or return to the store and enter an existing PD value manually.
- You can review a result before sending it and check the returned PD before adopting it in your prescription.
- Where available, use the store’s Loify Customer Center to view/export your linked records and prepare, cancel or confirm a deletion request. A deletion request may show as pending while required processing finishes.
- For access, correction, deletion or support that you cannot complete in the Customer Center, contact the store where you opened the workflow and ask for LoifyFit support. Our support page explains what information to include.
